The first glass facade solutions applied as silicone facade system are glazed curtain walls. Glasses are glued to aluminum frames prepared by bonding process using special constructive silicones. After the silicone curing time, the panels that are shipped to the field are hung on vertical aluminum carrier profiles. EPDM wicks, called gaiters, are available in joints.
